In winter vacation，I read a short novel called ‘Vampire Killer’. The story starts form the protagonist looking forward the job, tells us the protagonist’s adventure. The protagonist is a boy called Colin Miller. He wants a job to get money. He meets Professor Fletcher, a vampire killer. In his persuasion, Colin starts to work. After that Professor Fletcher leads him to kill a vampire, a beautiful madam called Claudia joins them. They catch Renfield—he works for vampires, and to be informed of the vampire’s address. When they arrive at there, Claudia tells Colin she is a vampire, and wants to drink blood. In this critical juncture, the sun shines. Vampires can’t be in the shine. Claudia runs away quickly. Claudia once said‘Everybody needs to eat and drink’. I think it’s true. Everybody has to do something, sometimes we should understand these evildoers. 短篇小說《獵人》有一個(gè)令人奇怪的細(xì)節(jié)：被獵殺者“熊”會(huì)說人話，獵人戚子紹在行使“打獵”的過程中，非但屢屢失敗，而且被熊給“干”了。

Robin Hood fought the sheriff of Nottingham, a corrupt official who treated the poor badly. So he became a hero of the common people. Robin Hood was a great archer. He never missed his target. He travelled around the country in many different disguises so that no one knew who he was. Whenever Robin Hood got into trouble he would blow his horn and his men would come to help him.Friar Tuck, Little John, and Maid Marian were the best-known members of his band. Friar Tuck was a fat, jolly priest. Little John stood more than 7 feet tall and was known for his great skill with a bow and arrow. Maid Marian was Robin Hood’s sweetheart.Although Robin fought and robbed landowners, church leaders and government officials, he and his band respected the ruling king, RichardⅠ. In many stories, the king disguised himself and joined the Merry Men, in order to capture Robin. 瑪麗安姑娘是羅賓漢的女友。

雖然羅賓漢與地主、教士和貪官為敵并劫掠他們的錢財(cái)，但對國王理查一世卻懷有敬意。

故事里的理查一世化裝后加入羅賓漢一伙，俟機(jī)逮捕羅賓漢。

但國王發(fā)現(xiàn)這伙人品行高尚，并百無法無天的歹徒，就赦免了他們。

題外話：英國中世紀(jì)的農(nóng)民與中國的農(nóng)民相似，總有一種頑固的想法：壞事都是貪官干的，皇帝（國王）并不知情。

羅賓漢一伙與梁山好漢們一樣，只反貪官，不反國王（皇帝）。
