今年暑假，爸爸為我在書店選購了一本書，書名叫《做個(gè)快樂的小書蟲》，一看到這個(gè)書名我就樂了，沒想到還有這樣名字的一本書，真是有趣！我倒要看看這本書寫了什么。拿到書后我就迫不及待地開始翻閱起來。

這時(shí)候爸爸對我說：“你可要認(rèn)真讀哦，這本書對你幫助你閱讀很有用。”聽了爸爸的話，我不以為然，因?yàn)槲冶緛砭褪且粭l“小書蟲”啊，難道看書還不會(huì)么？并且我閱讀速度在班級無人能及的，爸爸太小看我了吧?！笨吹轿覞M不在乎的樣子，爸爸嚴(yán)肅的說：“這本書會(huì)告訴你該怎么閱讀一本書，一個(gè)人能識(shí)字看書并不代表會(huì)閱讀，書讀的速度快也不一定能把一本書讀好，有可能是囫圇吞棗，什么也沒有學(xué)到?！?/p>

聽了爸爸的話，我拿起了這本《做個(gè)快樂的小書蟲》認(rèn)認(rèn)真真看了起來，看完后我終于明白了：閱讀除了要有“樂讀”的態(tài)度，還要掌握閱讀的技巧。一本書我們在閱讀時(shí)不能光光只是看書中的故事，也不能看完以后一丟了之，而是要在看書的過程中，做一些讀書筆記和摘抄一些書中優(yōu)美的詞句、段落，有時(shí)候還要?jiǎng)邮謱憣懽约旱乃妓?。只有養(yǎng)成這些良好的閱讀習(xí)慣，才能把書中知識(shí)變成自己可用的知識(shí)，為自己的成長助力。

現(xiàn)在，我知道了爸爸為什么會(huì)為我買《做個(gè)快樂的小書蟲》這本書了，讀完這本書我感覺它就像一盞慧燈點(diǎn)亮了人們閱讀的路，教會(huì)我們怎樣從閱讀中收獲有用的知識(shí)去編織著成長的夢想，真是一本好書！

在看完《做個(gè)快樂的小書蟲》的那天夜里，我夢見自己變成了一只快樂的會(huì)閱讀的小書蟲，遨游在書海里，閱讀著思考著摘抄著。隨書游遍了地球上的每一個(gè)角落。

前些天，媽媽帶我去書店買書。一本本課外書讓我愛不釋手，我挑了幾本回來，其中有本叫《做個(gè)快樂的小書蟲》讓我讀后印象非常深刻。

這本書的大概內(nèi)容是這樣的：愛讀書的寶藍(lán)和允熙原本是非常好的朋友，可是到五年級后她們沒有分到一個(gè)班，不久允熙班上又轉(zhuǎn)來了個(gè)插班生叫林媛靜，她卻喜歡打扮不喜歡看書，漸漸地允熙和林媛靜走的很近，冷落了寶藍(lán)，林媛靜自己不喜歡讀書還教壞了允熙。寶藍(lán)看在眼里急在心里，為了“挽救”好朋友，寶藍(lán)拉著允熙和媛靜成立了讀書三人小組，并且一起參加讀書王大賽。因?yàn)殒蚂o從來就不喜歡讀書，寶藍(lán)就千方百計(jì)想辦法讓林媛靜愛上讀書，寶藍(lán)為林媛靜挑選的第一本書是《少女喜歡的服飾搭配方法》讓林媛靜從此愛上了讀書。調(diào)皮大王金民俊也因?yàn)榱宙蚂o的激怒而立志讀書，向媛靜發(fā)出挑戰(zhàn)競爭“讀書王”?！叭齽汀痹诶蠋熀图胰说膸椭麻_始讀書。然而，本以為“讀書王”非她們莫屬，沒想到因?yàn)殒蚂o的緊張，最后“讀書王”還是被民俊拿走了。

這本書我讀了好幾遍，也思考了好多。寶藍(lán)不拋棄，不放棄終于把好朋友允熙挽救了回來，同時(shí)也把林媛靜這個(gè)不愛讀書的壞學(xué)生成功拉入到一個(gè)愛學(xué)習(xí)愛讀書的好學(xué)生行列。當(dāng)然這也與媛靜自己的努力和堅(jiān)持是分不開的。從林媛靜的轉(zhuǎn)變過程中我也深深體會(huì)到做什么事只要堅(jiān)持不懈、持之以恒，我們就一定能把事情做好，做成功。

一開始我總是在問自己：我們?yōu)槭裁匆嘧x書、讀好書呢？讀的書多了，慢慢就明白了許多道理，讀書可以陶冶自己的情操，讓我們變得更加有修養(yǎng)。

書是人類進(jìn)步的階梯，讀書能夠讓我們在極短的時(shí)間內(nèi)，掌握大量的知識(shí)。通過讀書我們還了解到世界上還有很多像我們這樣的兒童現(xiàn)在還生活在戰(zhàn)火之中，吃不飽穿不暖。我們感謝我們的黨和政府，讓我們今天的生活非常幸福。也感謝書讓我認(rèn)識(shí)了世界、了解了世界！

笛卡爾說過：“讀一本好書”，猶如同一個(gè)道德高尚的人交談。在暑假中，我經(jīng)常抱著一本心愛的書，獨(dú)自徜徉在書的海洋里，那里面充滿墨香文氣?？矗裉煳矣肿x起了巜做個(gè)快樂的小書蟲》這本書，它讓我懂得好習(xí)慣，貴在堅(jiān)持。

故事講的是：愛讀書的南寶藍(lán)和允熙原本是形影不離的好閨蜜，誰知卻被“橫空出世”的緩靜給“插足”了。喜歡打扮的媛靜偏偏最不喜歡看書，還把允熙給教壞了。為了“挽救”兩個(gè)好朋友，寶藍(lán)拉著允熙和媛靜成立了讀書“三劍客”小組，并且一起參加讀書王大賽?！耙徊ㄎ雌揭徊ㄓ制稹保@時(shí)，淘氣鬼金民俊故意向媛靜發(fā)出挑戰(zhàn)——要公平競爭“讀書王”，“三劍客”在老師和家人的幫助下開始讀書。然而，本以為“讀書王”得他們莫屬，沒想到因?yàn)殒蚂o的緊張和忐忑不安，最后“讀書王”還是被民俊拿走了。但緩靜也真正的懂得了閱讀的重要。

戰(zhàn)國時(shí)期呂蒙開始也是個(gè)大老粗，但自從有了閱讀習(xí)慣后。呂蒙就成了一個(gè)文學(xué)家，他每天手不釋卷。毛主席每天日理萬機(jī)，還抽時(shí)間讀書。一想到這，我不禁臉紅，我以前每次都是在媽媽的“威逼”之下才看書?？偸菍⒖磿暈橐患翱嗖钍隆薄Ｗ詮淖x了這本書后，媽媽說我變了一個(gè)人似的。有空就一頭扎到書海里，美麗善良的白雪公主，天真無邪的小紅帽，神秘魔幻的綠野仙蹤……都讓我沉迷，讓我陶醉?，F(xiàn)在呢，我喜歡古典名著。會(huì)為唐僧師徒的安危提心吊膽；會(huì)為林黛玉的凄美愛情珊珊落淚；會(huì)為梁山英雄拍手叫好；會(huì)看諸葛亮實(shí)戰(zhàn)空城計(jì)……我一邊又一遍品讀，一遍又一遍思考，體會(huì)其中的陰險(xiǎn)詭計(jì)，體會(huì)其中的善良純真。

我覺得現(xiàn)在的我就是一只地地道道的“小書蟲”。炎熱的夏天，酷熱難耐，我獨(dú)自坐在熱得像蒸籠的書房，津津有味地讀著書，電扇開到了最高檔，吹得全是熱風(fēng)，可我似乎絲毫也沒感覺到熱——我完全沉浸在書中。“啪！”一只手打在我的胳膊上?！澳愣伎毂晃米映粤耍　辈恢朗裁磿r(shí)候媽媽進(jìn)來了，替我拍死了正在喝血的蚊子。奇怪，平時(shí)最怕蚊子的我竟然不知道自己的胳膊上正停著一只蚊子！媽媽心疼地說：“你看你胳膊、腿上全是蚊子叮得疙瘩！”我回過神來，摸摸腦袋不好意思的說："“我咬書，蚊子咬我，我們是一對兒蟲呀！”媽媽聽了，笑著說：“好了好了，快去涂點(diǎn)藥去吧！”我只好極不情愿地走出書房。自從愛上閱讀，我的習(xí)作常被老師作為范文，作文也多次參加比賽獲獎(jiǎng)。我現(xiàn)在一天不讀書就會(huì)悶得慌。

高爾基說過：“書籍是人類進(jìn)步的階梯。”冰心也說過：“讀書好，好讀書，讀好書。”同學(xué)們，讓我們做個(gè)“快樂的小書蟲！”讓我們在讀書中快樂，在快樂中讀書！

這本書主要講了熱愛讀書的寶藍(lán)和允熙原本是一對形影不離的好朋友，她們一起讀書，一起玩耍。可是因?yàn)樾罗D(zhuǎn)來的林媛靜的出現(xiàn)，允熙和林媛靜很快成了好朋友，冷落了寶藍(lán)。媛靜愛打扮卻偏偏最不喜歡看書，甚至還把允熙給教壞了。為了幫助這兩個(gè)好朋友，寶藍(lán)拉著允熙和媛靜成立了讀書“三劍客”小組，并且一起參加了“讀書王”大賽。這時(shí)，淘氣鬼金民俊故意向她們發(fā)出了挑戰(zhàn)——要公平競爭“讀書王”的稱號，讀書“三劍客”在老師和家人的幫助下開始認(rèn)真讀書。本以為“讀書王”的稱號非她們莫屬，但結(jié)果卻出人意料，“讀書王”的稱號被金民俊拿走了。雖然媛靜沒能獲得“讀書王”的稱號，但她真正懂得了讀書的重要性，也是因?yàn)樽x書，讓他們變得更加親近了，他們一起向著更加美好的明天努力。

“書籍是人類進(jìn)步的階梯?！弊x書可以學(xué)到知識(shí)，知識(shí)可以改變命運(yùn)。縱觀古今中外，有許許多多的人因書籍改變并成就了自己，那是因?yàn)樗麄冏x了“數(shù)不清”的書，學(xué)到了許多知識(shí)。他們沉浸在讀書的快樂里，享受著讀書的樂趣。北宋著名文學(xué)家蘇洵小時(shí)候不愛讀書，直到二十七歲才幡然醒悟，發(fā)憤圖強(qiáng)。自己認(rèn)真讀書的同時(shí)，也影響著他的兒子們，后來三人一同進(jìn)京趕考，相繼金榜題名。父子三人被后人稱為“三蘇”，一同列入“唐宋八大家”，名垂千史。

暑假，老師讓我們讀一本好書，我讀了《做個(gè)快樂的小書蟲》，我被主人公寶藍(lán)和林熙那種樂于助人、堅(jiān)持愛讀書的精神深深感動(dòng)了。

這篇文章主要說了喜歡讀書的一對好朋友，誰知被“橫空出世”的媛靜給“插足”了。愛美的媛靜不愛看書，為了挽救兩個(gè)好朋友，寶藍(lán)拉著他們參加“讀書王”比賽，他和林熙，媛靜組成“讀書三劍客”來對付民俊，在老師的幫助下，結(jié)果卻出乎意料。民俊贏了，媛靜也真正懂得了閱讀的重要。

這篇文章使我深深體會(huì)到了：好習(xí)慣貴在堅(jiān)持，閱讀是人類進(jìn)步階梯。如果我們能將興趣內(nèi)化為精神力量，日積月累就會(huì)養(yǎng)成真正良好的習(xí)慣，如戰(zhàn)國時(shí)期呂蒙，開始也是大老粗，但自從有了閱讀習(xí)慣后，呂蒙就成了一個(gè)文學(xué)家，他每天手不釋卷。由此看出好習(xí)慣的重要性，毛主席每天日理萬機(jī)，還抽出時(shí)間讀書，我也要養(yǎng)成閱讀的好習(xí)慣，每天抽出時(shí)間閱讀。

每一個(gè)人都有各自喜歡的書籍。其中我比較喜歡看《魯濱孫漂流記》。因?yàn)檫@本書中的主人公——魯濱孫，是一個(gè)勇敢、有主見的人。而我就比較喜歡這類的人。

英國著名作家丹尼爾·笛福把魯濱孫的一個(gè)個(gè)故事，一個(gè)個(gè)情節(jié)寫得栩栩如生。其中我最喜歡看的部分就是第一章了。因?yàn)檫@一段情節(jié)描述了魯濱孫在遇難后的生活，與自己辛勤努力的結(jié)果，而且在這兒的從中體現(xiàn)出了他的機(jī)智與勇敢。

魯濱孫居然能在荒島上生活了28年，這個(gè)巨大的數(shù)字，是我們每一個(gè)人所不能承受的，而且他在那個(gè)鬼地方無依無靠，只能用自己的雙手與智慧來戰(zhàn)勝困難，但是我覺得他也是十分幸運(yùn)的，因?yàn)樵谶@么多人中，只有他幸存下來，他利用自己的智慧與勇敢戰(zhàn)勝了困難。在1868年終于回到了祖國，離別了28年的祖國。

他的精神十分值得人佩服。這使我明白了，不論遇到什么困難，都不是不可能戰(zhàn)勝的，所以我們一定要勇敢的面對。

書能讓我們從中懂得許多的道理與知識(shí)。

帶著自己的夢想去暢游魯濱孫的世界，體會(huì)他勇于冒險(xiǎn)和百折不撓的精神。了解了他的性格：他敢于冒險(xiǎn)；勇于追求自由自在，無拘無束的生活；即使流落荒島，也絕不氣餒；一個(gè)硬漢子的堅(jiān)毅性格和英雄本色?！棒敒I孫”已經(jīng)成為冒險(xiǎn)家的代名詞和千千萬萬讀者心中的英雄。魯濱孫在荒無人煙，缺乏最基本的生存條件的小島上，孤身一人，克服了許許多多常人無法想象的困難，以驚人的毅力頑強(qiáng)地活了下來。沒有房子，他自己搭建；沒有食物，他嘗試打獵，種谷子，馴養(yǎng)山羊，曬野葡萄干；他還自己摸索著做桌椅，做陶器，用圍巾篩面，做面包~~~在這荒無人煙的海島上，魯濱孫運(yùn)用自己的智慧，創(chuàng)造性地解決了衣食住行等多方面的問題。做陶器，做面包等細(xì)節(jié)描寫都充分表現(xiàn)了他積極面對困難的豁達(dá)態(tài)度和他非凡的創(chuàng)造力。

從古到今，出現(xiàn)了一批又一批勇敢的探險(xiǎn)家，他們上天入地，走南闖北，打開了自然界一扇扇緊閉的門窗，讓我們知道了世界上的許多秘密

曹文軒曾經(jīng)說過：一本好書，就是一輪太陽，燦爛千陽，照耀我們成長。而英國作家弗朗西絲？霍奇森？博內(nèi)特寫的《小公主》就是一輪太陽，照耀我們成長。

媽媽給我買了一本世界名著《小公主》，它是著名作家弗朗西絲的作品。

從前，家境富有的薩拉來到寄宿學(xué)校時(shí)，像一個(gè)光彩奪目的小公主。然而，父親的離去改變了這一切，在冷酷自私的校長的安排下，她成了小女傭，小教師，甚至屢屢流浪街頭。可無論如何，他的舉止依然像一個(gè)小公主。薩拉注定要成為公主，因?yàn)樗绕渌呐航?jīng)歷更多，也有跟多勇氣去面對生活的挫折。

這雖然是被我們所盼望的，皆大歡喜的結(jié)局，故事寫得卻不落俗套，人物和情節(jié)都極具代表性，字里行間更是充滿著神奇的吸引力——有那么多可愛的對白，巧妙的安排——看著十分動(dòng)人。在那簡單的言語之中，有讓人折服的道理。從我們的角度看到的世界，盡管充滿困惑和不解，卻真切地反映出什么是善，什么是惡。每一個(gè)小女孩的夢想，正是集于萬千寵愛于一身的小公主，那么光彩奪目。那么請像薩拉一樣，對自己許下心愿：失望的時(shí)候，要像個(gè)公主一樣鎮(zhèn)定并且保持希望永不滅；生氣的時(shí)候，要像個(gè)公主一樣溫和有禮懂得控制自己；快樂的時(shí)候，要像個(gè)公主一樣明白感恩學(xué)會(huì)與人分享。

小公主薩拉曾經(jīng)引導(dǎo)了一代又一代的女孩子追求真正的公主夢，讓她們學(xué)會(huì)幻想，學(xué)會(huì)表達(dá)，學(xué)會(huì)謙和，學(xué)會(huì)有原則，有信仰，有希望。

燈下，我看完了《長大最好做一條書蟲》這篇文章，感想頗多。

這篇文章是一位作家父親給兩個(gè)月大的小女兒寫的信，信中寫了他們家里人多么愛讀書，多么愛寫作，他希望女兒長大后成為一個(gè)愛讀書的人，成為一條書蟲。文中有一句話我很喜歡：“我們家有的是桑葉，不愁把你養(yǎng)成一條白白胖胖的蟲兒?！边@句話把書比做桑葉，把小女兒比做蟲兒，這個(gè)比喻很生動(dòng)，很形象。我覺得把蟲兒改成蠶會(huì)更好，更貼切，因?yàn)樾Q是專吃桑葉的。我寫作文時(shí)也要多用生動(dòng)的比喻句，這樣文章會(huì)更好，更優(yōu)美。

文章中的一家人都很愛讀書，電費(fèi)也一個(gè)月比一個(gè)月高，他們看書已經(jīng)達(dá)到了癡迷的程度，一天不看書就不舒服。我也很愛讀書。有一天晚上，我正在讀書，看到最后一個(gè)章節(jié)，正是高潮時(shí)，媽媽走了進(jìn)來：“快要十點(diǎn)鐘了，快睡覺吧。”“哦，好吧?！蔽抑缓煤仙蠒怨缘厣洗菜X。可是我翻來覆去怎么也睡不著，一直在想書里的故事。我忍不住了，把門打開一條縫，發(fā)現(xiàn)屋子里所有的燈都關(guān)了，房門也關(guān)上了，萬事俱備，開始行動(dòng)！

我拿來了手電，翻開書，打開手電，津津有味地看起來，一頁，二頁，我已經(jīng)跑進(jìn)了書中和主人公一起冒險(xiǎn)。正當(dāng)我合上書心滿意足地準(zhǔn)備睡時(shí)，媽媽推門進(jìn)來了：“你這個(gè)小書蟲，真拿你沒辦法?！?/p>

我真希望變成一條書蟲，鉆進(jìn)書架，一本一本啃，想啃哪本啃哪本，想啃多久啃多久，還不會(huì)被人發(fā)現(xiàn)，那該多好呀！

書，是我們的伙伴，不論什么地方，只要它在你身邊，你就能增長知識(shí)，開闊視野，變得充滿智慧，只要書在身邊你便不會(huì)孤獨(dú)，充滿快樂和勇氣。

《小書蟲》這篇文章主要是寫作者對書的癡迷與喜愛。

在讀這篇文章時(shí)，我知道了小書蟲是什么意思，原來“書蟲”二字是來比喻那些看看書的人，說他們就像蟲子一樣，恨不得把書吃掉，而童年時(shí)代的梁小天，就是這樣是“小書蟲”。

而從中我知道了作者最喜歡博覽的群書是《封神榜》《說唐》《水滸傳》還有《三國》······

在這篇文章中我發(fā)現(xiàn)了很多的詞可以運(yùn)用在我們寫作使用上，比如說：“匆匆忙忙，跌了”等等可是運(yùn)用上，在作者讀書讀得忘了回家時(shí)，體現(xiàn)了作者一絲不茍的閱讀那本書。

作者還會(huì)閱讀書時(shí)，把精彩，有趣的段熟記下來，他的父母怕他眼睛看壞了，所以限制他，不準(zhǔn)他看書，所以他偷偷的看。

這篇文章和五年級上冊的，第一單元有很多一樣的地方。

就比如說：《竊讀記》這篇課文主要說的就是作者對書的渴望之情，而《小苗與大樹的對話》也是和《小書蟲》有許多很像的，比如在《小苗與大樹對話》里面說的也是作者季羨林老爺爺小時(shí)候，他叔父也不讓看書，這是不是和《小書蟲》有這同樣的地方呢？

我對《小書蟲》和本單元學(xué)習(xí)，有著很深的感觸，我覺的這幾篇文章，都有對書的喜愛之情。

我希望自己也能像作者一樣，愛看課外書，能在書籍里翱翔，找到自己的一片天空。

讀了《長大最好做一條書蟲》這本書后，我越來越能體會(huì)到讀書的重要性。讀書不僅使我開闊了視野，得到了豐富的知識(shí)，還增長了我的才干，讓我明白了事理，慢慢學(xué)會(huì)做人。

這本書講的是媽媽告訴她的小女兒她非常愛看書，父親也是一樣的，父親夢寐以求的事就是當(dāng)個(gè)作家，而媽媽每次讀給女兒她自己的童話時(shí)覺得很自豪，還講了，在深夜，每次廠里的燈都是我們家最晚關(guān)，家里的電費(fèi)居高不下，并且媽媽還講了她自己的看法。我覺得，她們一家三口皆是三條一心一意的書蟲，母親每天不辭疲倦的看書、寫童話；父親一直想成為作家，他讀書、寫書，而那時(shí)雖是個(gè)年幼的小女兒，卻也懂得欣賞、傾聽，這種品質(zhì)多么的可貴。有了書籍，我們才能獲得知識(shí)，不落后于別人。這本書里彌漫著書香，小女孩安琪兒才兩個(gè)月大，她的爸爸媽媽就希望把她培養(yǎng)成一個(gè)既愛讀書又愛寫作的書蟲，一家三口里媽媽愛好讀書，爸爸愛好寫作，而小女兒安琪兒既愛讀書，又愛寫作，安琪兒的身上包含了爸爸和媽媽的優(yōu)點(diǎn)，這是多么完美??！書里包含著濃濃的愛，父愛與母愛，包圍著安琪兒，我相信安琪兒長大后一定能成為一個(gè)優(yōu)秀的書蟲。

讀書給了我知識(shí)，讀書給了我樂趣，讀書給了我力量，我在讀書中成長！同學(xué)們，讓我們愛上學(xué)習(xí)，與書交朋友，做一條可愛的書蟲吧！其實(shí)在書的世界里，你可以插上想象的翅膀，讓你的思緒在浩渺的天空中飛翔，讓你的感情在寬廣的海洋里蕩漾，讓你的理想在遼闊的大地上起飛吧！

I think “The monkeys paw” is very useful.Because it tells us some important things.Such as "get something for nothing." is impossible.We must do every things by ourselves.And we must know learn by doing.

Many people simply regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time. She perfectly reflected the relation between money and marriage at her time and gave the people in her works vivid characters.

The characters have their own personalities. Mrs. Bennet is a woman who makes great efforts to marry off her daughters. Mr. Bingley is a friendly young man, but his friend, Mr. Darcy, is a very proud man who seems to always feel superior. Even the five daughters in Bennet family are very different. Jane is simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesn’t have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century.

The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austen’s favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this book.

Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride and Prejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and classic. However, Beth, who keeps the house is always kind and gentle. After certain happy times winning over the Laurences, dark times arrive as Marmee finds out about her husbands illness. Worse is to come as Beth contracts scarlet fever in her Samaritan efforts for a sick neighbour and becomes more or lean invalid. The novel tells of their progreinto young womanhood with the additional strains of romance, Beths terminal illness, the pressures of marriage and the outside world. This story is gripping and also a little scary.It is tragic and sobering.The plot is both unexpected and reasonable.Although Old Mr White’s friend had warned him,but he didn’t listen.At last it became a tragedy.What caused all this?It’s obvious that the Mr White’s greed. He wanted to get the money with no pay,but that is impossible in this world.I’m afraid he’ll live out the rest of his life in regret. The three men who used the monkey’s paw all paid an irreparable price for their greed.
